Theory Postdoc Position in Open Many-body Systems

The successful candidate will contribute to a collaborative and interdisciplinary research at the meeting points between out-of-equilibrium and many-body physics. The working language is English.
Your Responsibilities
- Analyze the impact of an open system on quantum critical effects in mesoscopics. Examples include the realization of the Kondo effect using quantum computers in the NISQ era, or Kane-Fisher impurity in open quantum wires.
Your Competencies
- Candidates must hold a PhD in Physics with a focus on field theoretical tools and/or computational physics in many-body solid state;
- Experience in bosonization, Keldysh action and Tensor networks is a plus;
- We search for originality in research, as well as proven research experience, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
